The camaraderie between two of the best white-ball finishers—MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina—is a well-documented one. They carried the Indian batting for years, took Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to immense success, and even announced their international retirement on the same day (15 Aug. 2020). However, while Raina is a headline name in the Legends League Cricket (LCC), MS Dhoni is in the twilight of his IPL career.
Raina wants Dhoni to play LLC?
In a recent event in New Delhi for the third season of LLC, Suresh Raina was asked about if he would like to see his former India and CSK skipper MS Dhoni in the Legends League Cricket. To this, the southpaw replied, “I would love to (to see MS Dhoni play in Legends League Cricket), to be honest. We don’t know the future of IPL auction. But you need to ask the LCC owners – they might be talking to him (MS Dhoni).”
