Copa Mundial Femenina T20 de la ICC: panel de comentarios estelares y Mithali Raj anunciados por Mel Jones

El panel de comentaristas repleto de estrellas para la Copa Mundial Femenina T20 ICC 2024 se anunció antes del inicio del torneo.

A star-studded commentary panel comprising of the likes of stalwarts Mithali Raj, VW Raman & more has been unveiled for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. The marquee event will take place between October 3-20 in UAE. The live coverage for the tournament, which will be produced by ICC TV, will also see the availability of Decision Review System (DRS), Hawk Eye Smart Replay system and other state-of-the-art facilities to help in decision making.

The commentary panel will comprise of legends including Mel Jones, Lisa Sthalekar, Stacy Ann King, Lydia Greenway, Carlos Brathwaite, Mithali Raj, VW Raman, Sana Mir, Anjum Chopra, Katey Martin. Other broadcast regulars including Natalie Germanos, Ian Bishop, Kass Naidoo, Nasser Hussain, Alison Mitchell, and Mpumelelo Mbangwa will also be a part of the panel.

The coverage will include a pre-game build-up, an interval show and a post-match wrap up. Disney Star will support the coverage for production services. Additionally, ICC TV will offer exclusive off-field content, including daily player profiles, team features, match previews, venue insights, and behind-the-scenes features.

The ninth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will see 10 teams in fray, vying for the prestigious trophy. The tournament was supposed to be hosted by Bangladesh but was moved to the UAE in the backdrop of political turmoil and unrest in the country. The T20 WC will commence with Bangladesh taking on Scotland on October 3. India will kick-start their campaign by taking on New Zealand on October 4.
