In a video of the team’s travel from Gwalior to Delhi uploaded by the BCCI, happy faces are seen in the Indian camp throughout, from coach Morne Morkel to skipper SKY. Surya, being his usual self, cracked a joke or two with the paparazzi at the airport. Bowling coach Morkel is seen joking ‘non-stop work’.

India were easily the better side in the first encounter against Bangladesh as they outclassed their opponents with both bat and ball. Varun Chakravarthy and Arshdeep Singh bagged three wickets each while contributions from Hardik Pandya and Mayank Yadav saw the hosts restricting BAN to just 127 runs.
In response, India got off to a fiery start, courtesy of Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma. Suryakumar Yadav led from the front with a short cameo that showcased his ability to deliver 360 degrees. The finishing touches were made by an explosive Hardik Pandya, who seemed to be in a hurry to complete the run-chase on that occasion.
