The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 final will be played on October 20 (Sunday). New Zealand Women will take on the South Africa Women in the T20 World Cup final match to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in UAE. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, pivotal in the growth of women’s T20 cricket, began in 2009 with eight teams and now features 10. England won the inaugural tournament, but Australia has dominated since, winning six titles and finishing as runners-up in 2016. India’s best performance came as runner-up in 2020. England has experienced the most heartbreak with three runner-up finishes, while New Zealand has also been runner-up twice. The tournament’s qualification is based on WT20I rankings and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup qualifier.
