‘Cuando conocí al MS Dhoni, era Rishabh Pant…’: Suresh Raina insinúa el traslado del portero indio al CSK

Retención de IPL: Rishabh Pant no ha sido retenido por DC a pesar de ser el mejor bateador durante años y esto podría llevar al CSK a tener dificultades.

Rishabh Pant not being retained by IPL franchise DC, is perhaps the biggest development that has emerged out of Thursday’s IPL retention. While several reports had already claimed about the development, but a confirmation has created an interest among all the teams, because without doubt, Pant is the most sought-after player in IPL Auction.

Just imagine, Rishabh Pant was undoubtedly DC’s best player, who had been associated with the franchise for eight years, where he ended up playing 111 games, scoring 3284 runs, slamming a ton, and at an average of 35.31. And those credentials could guarantee him a massive price at the IPL Auction. Eventually, which franchise ends up getting him, is something to be decided later.

But as per various reports, PBKS would be eyeing the southpaw batter. Also because, Ricky Ponting, whom Pant shares an excellent relationship, has moved to Punjab. Plus they have enough money left in the bag, to splurge on an expensive player. On the other hand, in the fray would also be CSK, who desperately need a replacement for MS Dhoni.

Recently, former CSK batter Suresh Raina met MS Dhoni, and in an interaction with JioCinema, spoke about “something big” that is going to happen. “When I met MS Dhoni, Rishabh Pant was also present. I feel something big is about to happen, someone will definitely wear the yellow,” Raina said on JioCinema.

CSK retained five players — MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Matheesha Pathirana, and Shivam Dube, along with Ruturaj Gaikwad. They still have 55 Cr left in the purse for IPL auction.
