One of the most successful IPL franchises, Mumbai Indians, have announced their head coach for IPL 2025 as they called back their most successful coach, Mahela Jayawardene, to the camp. He will replace Mark Boucher, who was with the team for the last two seasons. Jayawardene has won three IPL trophies with the Mumbai Indians in 2017, 2019, and 2020.
